1. About PhotoFlare Studio
PhotoFlare Studio is a desktop image editing application developed by Dylan Coakley. These terms apply to your use of PhotoFlare Studio and this website.
2. Licence
PhotoFlare Studio is commercial software. Purchasing a licence grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual licence to install and use PhotoFlare Studio on your computers. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute the software.
The licence key issued to you is for your personal use. Do not share your licence key.
3. Free Download
PhotoFlare Studio may be downloaded and used without purchase. Unregistered use is subject to a save-based reminder prompt. No features are disabled or time-limited.
4. Payment
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), who act as Merchant of Record. When you purchase a licence, you are transacting with Paddle subject to their Terms of Service. We receive the licence fee minus Paddle’s fees.
5. Licence Activation
Your licence key is delivered by email after purchase. Activation requires an internet connection on first use. The key is validated against our licence server. After activation, the application works offline indefinitely.
6. Updates
Your licence includes software updates for a reasonable period following purchase. We reserve the right to define what constitutes a major version upgrade that may require a separate licence purchase. You will never be required to upgrade — your existing licence continues to work.
7. No Warranty
PhotoFlare Studio is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
