2. What data we collect
When you purchase a licence:
- Your email address (received from Paddle after a successful purchase, used to deliver your licence key)
- Your licence key (stored in our database to validate activation requests)
When you activate or validate your licence:
- Your licence key
- A timestamp of the validation request
We do not collect your name, payment details, or billing address – these are handled entirely by Paddle.
When you use the software:
- PhotoFlare Studio does not phone home, track usage, or collect telemetry of any kind.
- No images or files you edit are ever transmitted anywhere.
3. How we use your data
- To deliver your licence key by email
- To validate licence activation requests from the application
- To contact you with important updates related to your purchase (e.g. major version releases)
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
4. Data storage
Your email address and licence key are stored in a database hosted on a secure server. Data is retained for as long as your licence is active or until you request deletion.
5. Third parties
Paddle processes your payment and is subject to their own privacy policy. We receive only your email address and order reference from Paddle.
Resend is used to send transactional emails (licence key delivery). Your email address is passed to Resend for this purpose only.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support [at] photoflare [dot] io. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
This website may use cookies for basic analytics (e.g. page visit counts). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
