Unfortunately I found out that GTK does not support Wiw (window in window) or as others would understand it child windows. Every image
you open in PhotoFiltre opens in a window which is inside the main program window. It seems to accomplish the same on Linux would mean
writing my own implementation of it. I don’t think I have the ability to do this right now and I could really use some help from a more
experienced individual.
As for optimizing the code for loading dialogs this can still be accomplished and I think I can manage it. However time is not permitting
me at the moment as college work is starting to heap up on me. College will always be my priority at the moment over this or any project.
For those that want to know more about this optimization I can explain via a diagram below:
If you think you can help me write an implementation for child windows(window in window) then please send me an e-mail. I hope to do
it with GTKmm/C++ but if you can do it in C then I would also be happy with that.
